The SIC GS Drill Keys are used for guiding the Drills or Bone Taps in the Sleeves. The markings correspond to the SIC GS Drills and fit to the Sleeve according to the article name.
The Drill Key is inserted into the Sleeve to the stop. The Drill is then inserted through the drill guide and the bone cavity is prepared to the planned insertion depth.
Start the drilling procedure after the drill has been inserted through the drill guide.
The SIC GS Drill Key Ø 2.0 mm is used for guiding the Pilot Drill Ø 2.0 mm in the Sleeve Ø 3.10 mm and the bone tap in the Sleeve Ø 5.2 mm.
In accordance with the instructions in the SIC Guided Surgery leaflet, if the drill guide is used for the thread tap, the shank of the respective bone tap is inserted through the end of the drill key printed with "TAP". The bone tap and the pre-mounted drill guide are then placed into the contra-angle and inserted in the Sleeve as a single unit.
