936275 - SIC Transfer Abutment "Safe on Four", open tray technique (incl. SIC Fixation Screw 16.0 mm)
The SIC transfer abutment "Safe on Four", open tray technique is used for tsking impressions using the "open tray technique". The abutment transfers the absolute and relative implant position and the position of the abutment used in the implant to the master model.
The tray must be perforated in the area of the implant position to allow the fixation screw of the transfer abutment to project through. The abutment has the universal conical fit of all SIC "Safe on Four" abutments and a conical transfer area as well as a retentive contour design in the head region. The transfer abutment is fixed in position on the "Safe on Four" Bar and Bridge Abutment and Standard Abutment using the 16 mm fixation screw.
The Standard Abutment "Safe on Four", open tray technique remains in the tray after the impression has been taken. To fabricate the model the Lab implant is then fitted by the technician and the model fabricated.
The transfer abutment "Safe on Four" is hand-tightended with a torque of 5-7 Ncm using either the HEX 1.2 mm SIC Screwdriver or manually using the insertion tool 937042.
